This audition is for the Summer Dance Intensive, sponsored by the Carr Center in collaboration with the Debbie Allen Dance Academy of Los Angeles, CA. The faculty features master instructors from DADA. Ms. Allen will be present and conduct the audition.
The audition will be Sunday April 30, 2023 from 12:00PM-4:00pm. Doors will open at 11:15AM. Be prepared to stay for the entire audition.

Dancers should dress in appropriate dancewear; girls-black leotard with flesh tone tights, boys: white tee shirt with black jazz pants. Please bring Ballet and Jazz shoes.

The dance intensive dates are July 17, 2023 to July 29, 2023, Monday through Saturday from 9:00AM to 5:00PM. Classes will be in the following techniques: Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Hip Hop, African and Tap. The intensive culminates with a final showcase performance on Saturday July 29th in the Ford Theatre at the Detroit School of Arts. Audition registration fee is $25.00 and is non-refundable.
